Brain And Body Autism Center
At Brain and Body Autism Center, we use the Brain-Body Dynamics Model (BBDM)—a cohesive, evidence-based framework designed to foster holistic development in children on the autism spectrum. Our intensive early intervention program runs five days a week for 2.5 hours each day and is delivered by a multidisciplinary team of speech therapists, occupational therapists, movement and music specialists, piano instructors, and support staff. BBDM is grounded in the understanding that:
-
A healthy brain-body connection is essential for optimal physical and mental health.
-
Autistic children typically possess near-normal intelligence and strong awareness of their environment.
-
Many experience motor-planning challenges (dyspraxia) that affect speech, response time, and consistent skill performance—often mistaken for lack of comprehension.
-
Most behaviors arise from sensory integration and motor-planning difficulties rather than willful inattention or defiance.

BBAC will be accepting a small number of children between 2–4 years of age for our intensive early intervention program, hosted on the Waldorf School campus.
This is a highly individualized, 5-day-a-week program designed for young children who benefit from early, brain-body–based intervention. We anticipate up to 5 openings by May 2026. Spots are limited and typically fill quickly.
