After-school Program
After-school Program (4+)
Our After-school Program is open to all - both neurotypical and neurodivergent children. Every child who joins our after-school program begins with an individualized assessment. Based on that assessment and on each family's goals and preferences. We build a personalized schedule from the services below.
When: 2026–2027 school year
Days: 2–5 days between Monday–Friday (selected per child)
Age Range: 4+ years
Location: 823 San Aleso Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94085
Timing: 1.5–2 hours between 2 pm and 5 pm
Our team includes a Gymnastics Teacher, a Piano Teacher, child-care staff, Lindamood-Bell trained instructors, and Teacher Aides.
Socio-Recreational & Enrichment Services
Gymnastics
Led by professional gymnastics instructors, our gymnastics sessions build body awareness, coordination, and core strength — foundational elements that support motor planning and self-regulation. Structured routines and repetitive movement patterns help improve bilateral coordination, balance, and spatial orientation.
Music & Movement
Led by a music instructor, this program uses rhythm- and movement-based activities to support motor planning and sensory integration while building core strength.
Piano Lessons
Individual or small-group piano instruction, available to any enrolled child.
Storytime
Led by a trained instructor, our individual storytime sessions use interactive, multi-sensory stories — character voices, props, and movement — to build listening skills, sustained attention, and imaginative play. Each session is tailored to your child's interests and engagement style, using storytelling as a way to build focus, anticipation, and enjoyment of shared activities.
Social Group
Led by trained instructors, our Social Group brings children together for guided peer interaction, cooperative games, and group singing. Instructors facilitate shared activities designed to encourage children to connect with one another, building comfort, familiarity, and enjoyment of group settings through play, music, and shared routines.
Other Enrichment Activities — Art and Violin
Children are grouped by skill level to ensure appropriate support and progression. Children still developing fine motor control receive targeted support before advancing. Violin is offered to children who have developed foundational music-reading skills.
Sports
Children are also introduced to two different sports to support physical development, coordination, and teamwork.
These services are non-clinical and are led by qualified recreation, arts, and academic instructors. Families select any combination of the following based on their child's assessed needs and interests. Children who are experiencing severe difficulty in a group setting will receive 1 to 1 support as necessary. All activities are priced $55 per session. We provide invoices that can be used for reimbursement from your regional center.
Academic Support
Reading, Reading Comprehension, and Math (1:1 instruction)
Children who need additional academic support receive individualized instruction using evidence-based methods, including Lindamood-Bell for reading/comprehension and Montessori-based methods for math. Please contact us directly to discuss availability and billing for this component.
Other Services
We do also have a licensed Speech Therapist and Occupational Therapist on-site. This is to offer the convenience of having these clinical services at the same location as recreational activities. Families who choose to receive these services are offered a superbill to receive reimbursement from their medical insurance. These services are not a part of the after-school program-- they are individualized add-ons.
